ALL THINGS BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL - SAT 15 JULY
An evening of Music and Poetry presented by Strictly Recorders and Wentworth Voices, fundraising for St Mary’s Church Conservation Project. Tickets £5.00 on the door.

JUNIOR CHURCH CAFÉ 16 JULY

Please join us after the Service on Sunday 16 July for a cup of freshly brewed Fairtrade coffee and a homemade cake, to raise funds for Junior Church.

ICTHUS TRAIL THURSDAY 27 JULY 2017
Gayle Bryon is organising an Activity Day at St Mary’s Church, for Primary School Age children, between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm. The activities will consist of lots of ‘fishy’ crafts and games, songs and stories about Jesus and his fishermen friends. If the weather is good, there will be games in the Walled Garden, and a large outdoor Icthus Trail.
If you feel you can help with this activity, even if you can’t help all day but could come to serve drinks, or if you could prepare some crafts before the day, please contact Gayle as soon as possible, Email: gayleschoolswork@gmail.com. There will be a Planning Meeting at 7.30 pm on Wed 21 June, at 4 Russley Close.

ST MARY’S STRAWBERRY TEAS 04 JUN – 02 JUL
St Mary’s will be providing Strawberry Teas outside the Stable Room on each Sunday afternoon from 04 June to 02 July, between 2.00 and 4.30 pm. St Mary’s Bell Tower and the Polyptych will be open during these times.

If you are able to help with stewarding in the Church, please add your name and availability to the relevant sign-up sheets at the back of Church.

THANKSGIVING SERVICE FOR THE LIFE OF JIM EDDINGS

A Thanksgiving Service for the Life of Jim Eddings of the Stand and Praise Gospel Choir will be held at the Church of Christ the Servant, Abbey Meads, at 12.00 noon on 24 June 2017, led by Revd Keith Osborn, in accordance with Jim’s dying wish. The Service will be followed by a gathering at the County Ground Hotel.

Jim’s funeral will be held in the USA.

In preparation for the Service, a Choir rehearsal will be held on Wednesday 21 June at Eastcott Studios (28 Eastcott Hill, Swindon SN1 3JG) at 7.30 pm.
