St Mary’s is part of a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) consisting of four denominations: Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed Church.
As part of our Safeguarding review in 2018, the Partnership chose to follow the Safeguarding Policy, Procedures and training from the United Reformed Church as is permitted within an LEP.
The staff within the Partnership complete both the URC Safeguarding training and also their own denominational safeguarding training. For the Anglican clergy, this means they undertake training with both the South West URC and Bristol Diocese.
